This workshop is all about offering a perfect place to relax through various forms of art and activities. We aim to connect all attendees by letting you explore yourself in a fresh way.
Continuing from last year, the event will be held again this year!
The first theme this year is “En-nichi (festival)” on Aug. 7th (Wed.)/8th (Thu.). Both indoor and outdoor events are fully arranged based on the atmosphere of the Japanese-style summer festival. Participants will be able to listen to music on their earphones while dancing and parading around in the streets, wearing the masks and costumes they created at the Workshop, as “a person other than their usual self” or “a self they do not know. Of course, those who do not participate in the Workshop or wear a mask or a costume are welcome to participate in the Bon Odori dance as they are. This is a rare opportunity to express yourself through Bon Odori dance.
You are welcome to come alone, with friends, or just drop in!　We look forward to your participation.
